The Associate in Science (AS) degree in Forensic Accounting is a two year program. The program blends traditional accounting principles with investigative skills to detect, prevent, and analyze financial misconduct". The accounting components focuses on recording transactions, preparing financial statements, its interpretation and forecasting. The  forensic accounting portion involves examining financial records for potential use as evidence in legal proceedings, such as fraud investigations or commercial disputes plus more. The investigation of financial fraud can be an overwhelming process. A process that entails looking at enormous trail of transactions and data to find probable evidence.  The role of forensic accounting is relevant to the process and this program equips you for the challenge. The program also prepares students  to determine fraudulent  activities, recommends preventative and control methods. The college runs a trimester program. Students who closely follow the trimester arrangement can complete the AS in  Forensics Accounting degree program in eighteen(18) months.
